It was a wonderful opportunity to educate the community about our work to advance knowledge around treatments to fight colon cancer. Since March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, the timing was perfect!

EDUCATING A BROADER AUIENCE

Danna, Dick and Dr. Tim Starr were featured on a March 3, 2015 evening news segment on KARE-11 in the Twin Cities. They were able to share Danna’s story, provide information about the Mezin-Koats Colon Cancer Research fund, along with the groundbreaking work being done at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota.
