2024 Cruise for a cause Scheduled FOR June 20th
Join Us on the Avalon on the St. Croix River
Please join us on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 for our Cruise for a Cause on the St. Croix River. Mezin-Koats Colon Cancer Research, in partnership with Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, is gathering friends and families to promote further discoveries in the fight to end colon cancer.
This is our largest fundraising event of the year. With your support, MKCCR has raised over $1 million since its inception, funding 14 major research projects.
This event, held on the Avalon, of the Stillwater Riverboats, allows interactions in an outdoor environment as well as indoor spaces in case of rain. Our two and a half hour voyage along the beautiful St. Croix River is a fun, relaxing way to spend the evening while raising money for a good cause. The cruise includes a dinner, cash bar, raffle and updates from researchers and staff at the University of Minnesota.
Boarding begins at 5:45pm and departure is at 6:30pm (sharp). There are several public parking lots nearby and many interesting shops if you arrive early.
We suggest and appreciate a $75 per person donation when you register. We know our supporters are passionate about the fight to end colon cancer and hope you are inspired to donate generously. As always, 100% of all donations go directly to Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota and are tax deductible. Even if you cannot make it to the event, we encourage you to give. THANK YOU!
