The fight against colon cancer isn’t a solo journey.
It involves patients, family members, doctors and caregivers. Everyone has a story and each one makes our community stronger. We’d love to hear from you.

My Big Sister:
My big sister was diagnosed with stage 3A colon cancer in Nov 2013. She had her first colonoscopy then at 57 years old and they found a tumor isolated to her colon. She ultimately had surgery that successfully removed the tumor with clean margins and found cancer cells in a lymph node. She followed up with 12 rounds of chemo over 6 months and got a clean "cancer free" bill of health last week! Breaks my heart that she had to go through this and wished she had had that first colonoscopy at 50.
